On street right in front of house parking (one car). Great neighbors, safe to walk. Walgreens is steps away where they sell all the last minute essentials plus beer, & liquor. Roberts fresh market and grocery store is just over a block away and has groceries and many pre made foods, great bakery, beer cave and full liquor store. You can hear the music from Frenchmen St from the balcony, the good times are right down the road. Bourbon Street and the French Quarter are an easy 7 block walk past many other bars, restaurants and shops. Everything is an easy walk. If you don't feel like walking the new St.Clude street car line picks up less than a block from the house and you can easily get to the French Quarter, Garden District, Downtown, Warehouse district, Superdome, fairgrounds, zoo, casino, riverfront and so many more places for $3/day or less. Lyft and Uber rides are a great inexpensive option as well and typically within 2 minutes of the home. My home is set up to be very livable, comfortable but non-pretentious (fave characteristic of NOLa). It is fully equipped and I believe offers some fun little bonus amenities as well! Experience staying at a historical mansion in the beautiful Garden District. This house is luxurious and is steps away from the Magazine corridor with all the local restaurants, bars and boutiques. It is also a short walk away from St Charles Avenue and the streetcar to the French Quarter. We are a short drive to the French Quarter, next to the business District and close to the Convention center. There is also a gated parking area for one car. There are three large bedrooms with two smaller bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had a ensuite bathroom. The two other bedroom have a large shared well apointed bathroom. There is another bathroom downstairs. This home has a lot of space, and every bedroom is furnished with comfortable beds. The kitchen is large, and it has all the basics utensils, cookware,and glassware. Our neighborhood is very centralized, and it's just minutes away to the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street in The Marigny, Uptown, and the Central Business District. There is always coffee stocked and a standard coffee pot with filters. Guest access Bedrooms, Bathroom, Fully Stocked Kitchen, Nice Backyard. Interaction with guests I will let guests enjoy New Orleans on their own but if they need me I will be there in a second! Other things to note The bedrooms are "shotgun style": You walk through one bedroom to get to the next. All creole homes in New Orleans are set up like this. Our Galley Kitchen is fully furnished with a Stove, a brand new Kitchen Aid dishwasher and other new appliances such as a Samsung Refrigerator & Microwave + Cuisinart Toaster and Coffee Maker. There is also a new set of high-quality Pots and Pans. In the pantry, you'll find the standards of salt, pepper, sugar and honey. We also provide breakfast cereal, a box of assorted teas, coffee and cream. Yum! The 2nd floor apartment is about 1,600 sq. ft., with 3 sunny bedrooms, tall ceilings, Central AC and Heating & ceiling fans. My place is in the heart of Old Metairie, the safest area in the City of New Orleans. Ten to fifteen minute drive to most city venues. Five minutes to Ochsner Medical Center. Five restaurants across the street and a drugstore and grocery within walking distance. My place is great for friends, business travelers, and families (with kids) seeking to enjoy the treasures and revelry of our city. Our neighborhood is one of the safest areas in the City of New Orleans. Being on Metairie road allows for quick access to most venues in the city. Our neighborhood also boasts some of the highest real estate values in the city Our unit is a ground floor apartment in a small complex. No smoking in the unit. All of the furnishings are brand new. We provide coffee and bottled water for our guests. There is a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry supplies. As frequent travelers ourselves we want a clean, comfortable, functional space when we arrive and throughout our stay. We strive to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. This unit is in a small walk-in gated building. There is a small pool and patio ideal for relaxing after an eventful day in the city. Our property manager lives on site to address any concerns or problems you may encounter.
